Tour Description

Join us for an unforgettable experience on the turquoise, glacier-fed waters of Kenai Lake. Bald eagles, waterfowl, dall sheep, salmon, and other local critters may give you a show. The surrounding Chugach mountains offer breathtaking views and exhibit the true essence of rural Alaska.

Meet our fleet of tandem kayaks and friendly guides at the quaint, off the beaten path gem, Williams Beach!  Located on the north shore of Kenai Lake where natural beach gravel that is not too sandy and not too rocky greets your feet.

Kenai Kayak and Raft LLC is the exclusive Chugach National Forest permit holder for this location!  This 3 hour adventure will give you the opportunity to take in the stunning beauty of Kenai lake and the surrounding Chugach mountains.  Bald eagles, waterfowl, dall sheep, salmon, and other local critters may give you a show during your tour.

Our knowledgeable and professional guides make your safety our number one priority. All of our guides are 1st Aid/CPR certified, level 2 ACA Sea Kayaking certified, and uphold professionalism to the highest standard.  Your guide will greet you, give a safety speech, and get you geared up for stepping into your tandem kayak.  They will give some onshore instruction on how to pilot your kayak before we settle in and shove off the beach to start our paddle!

The destination, “Lone Tree Point”, is a little less than 2 miles up the lake to the South East. Lone Tree Point is an absolutely stunning paddle. The views of the snowcapped Chugach mountains abruptly rising from the glacial waters are majestic and magnificent.

Once we arrive at this treasure of a beach your guide will help you land your kayak, assist you getting out, then offer a little snack while you soak up the beauty, stretch, and relax.  You will be greeted with some of the best skipping rocks of all time!  Try your hand, how many skips can you link?   After enjoying Lone Tree Point we will climb back into our kayaks and paddle our way back to Williams Beach, enjoying the views to the North West.

All in all this is a fun trip with epic views and opportunities for photography. Sitting upon the glacial waters surrounded by awe inspiring views of Alaska will be a memory you won’t soon forget!
